Advanced Topics in Therapy: Evidence-Based Adaptions to EB Treatment

Mental and behavioral health concerns are common in children and adolescents, with many factors impacting choice of and effectiveness of interventions strategies. Evidence-based interventions are essential and should be flexibly applied, while maintaining adherence to the science and intention of these interventions, in order to account for the complex presentation of many children and adolescents. Our Therapist ECHO Series provides an efficient and collaborative way to learn and practice evidence-based adaptations to evidence-based interventions utilizing an advanced case conceptualization model. The learning is supported by psychologists, psychiatrists, and therapists. The goal of ECHO is to improve providers’ comfort and skills with effective and efficient identification and management of common and complex mental health concerns, while also providing a network of resources to ensure patients receive the right care, in the right place, at the right time.
