cincinnati children’s project echo Programs

There are over 100,000 children and adults living with sickle cell disease (SCD) in the US, yet most of these individuals have limited access to knowledgeable providers comfortable with managing the complex medical and psychosocial complications of SCD.

The goal of Sickle Treatment and Outcomes Research in the Midwest (STORM) TeleECHO is to empower primary care providers to develop the skills and knowledge to manage pediatric and adult patients with sickle cell disease using evidence-based best practices. The STORM TeleECHO presentation curriculum is based on the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute’s evidence-based guidelines for the management of SCD.

We are looking for pediatric and adult primary care providers to participate in STORM TeleECHO. Once registered, providers may participate in sessions of interest.
